Path to the result.
The culture is firmly stuck in verbal struggle for dominace. We argue to "win" and to badger others into seeing our viewpoint. Why would we stop and do anything else? Because we will die if we do not. That is the only reason. But until the idea has some respect it is just another crackpot idea. I hope there are enough people who can see the possibility of a positive result. Only if a core see that possibility can we ever hope the culture will pick it up and use it. And that requires respect. We respect what our peers respect. And our superiors or authroity figures. We take their word for what is important. So we have to build a tool that can grow in respect. That will take time. |
